Thank you for visiting my portfolio.

I’m a senior UX designer at J. Paul Getty Trust working on re-designing getty.edu. Prior to Getty, I was a product designer & researcher at Naked Labs, a Silicon Valley-based startup focused on 3D scanning, computer vision, and human-centered design. Before joining Naked, I received a Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University in Chicago. I also have a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California at Santa Cruz.

I’m collaborative. My human-computer interaction and cognitive psychology background helps me speak the language of engineers and other researchers, and consider their needs, constraints, findings, when making design decisions. My work as a track & field captain and coach have helped me greatly in communicating and empathizing with different audiences.

I’m a detail-oriented designer, but I recognize the real design process may not look as clean as a double-diamond or design-thinking framework, and so I ground myself in a mindset of empathy, experimentation, failing fast to constantly learn and improve.

What drives me as a designer is a belief that the world can be designed in a way that better suits our needs, and I’m passionate about identifying and addressing some of these complex opportunities.
